Internship Placements

We offer placements practically in each economical sector. The position offered, is likely to be influenced by the applicants level of English as well as (if applicable) Polish language , length of the internship, as well as previous professional experience and education.

• During the work placement, the tutor will visit the participants in the companies and help them with problems as well as to write a report.

• The participant can only change the work placement when presenting reasonable causes.

• The attendance and the punctuality in the work placement are compulsory. Any participant breaking these rules, can be dropped out of the program.

• At the end of the program a final report will be made using the information from the preparation course, the tutor as well as the information from the employer.

Internship Sectors & Possibilities

Institutions from Industry, Business and Education welcome our trainees on a consistent and regular basis, many offering extended stays or permanent positions.

After the language course (or from the very beginning, if language course is not wished), the students have the possibility to be placed in a wide range of companies, in sectors like:

• business administration, IT

• accountancy, import/export, freight forwarding,

• architectural, industrial and graphic design,

• marketing, PR, sales,

• food industry, quality control, hotel & catering, tourism….and many others!

Certification

At the end of the programme all participants will receive a work reference form from their employer as well as a certificate from FUTURUM confirming their participation in the project and the results of the language course.

• Technical Visits Programme (T.V.P) for Schools and Universities.

• Cultural Activities like sightseeing in Warsaw, Museums etc.

• Excursions to Wroclaw, Krakow, Gdansk.... etc

Language Course in Poland

In one of the beautiful cities (Warsaw or Wroclaw), participants have the opportunity to learn the Polish language. A wide range of courses are offered, which meet any kind of personal need.

Our intensive Polish course offers different levels, from beginners up to professionals.

Fees depend on the number of students in a group and length of the course. Classes are held from Monday to Friday.

• Small groups: max. 8 students

• Students are placed in different classes according to their Polish level

• All teachers are native speakers and specialized in teaching Polish as a foreign language

• Videos, tapes and discussions

The fields of this course will depend on the language level, but basically it includes:

• Grammar, oral and written exercises, improving vocabulary, compositions.

• Conversation.

• Preparing participants in their sectors, before starting their work placement.

There will be an exam at the beginning of each programme, to determine the Polish level of each participant.

It is very important to make sure that both, the attendance as well as punctuality are compulsory, otherwise the participant could be dropped out of the programme.

Cultural Programme

Cultural and leisure activities are organised according to the partner's wish by our staff. They include a number of activities that will help the student to get to know and understand everyday life in the Polish culture. We organize not only sightseeing tour of Warsaw and Wroclaw, with special consideration of its economical life, but also trips to other Polish cities.

These activities are not included in the costs of the program.

Accommodation

Beneficiaries will be placed in an apartment shared with other foreign students or natives, sharing bathroom, kitchen and living room with the hosts.

We try that all places are located in that way that will allow the students to get easy to work from their place of accommodation. The maximum time from the work place to the accommodation will be around 30 minutes walking or around 15 minutes by public transport.

Local Transportation

A monthly public transport card will be given to the participant when needed to reach the school or work place. In addition transportation from the airport / train Station / Bus station to the accommodation ( first day and last day of arrival) and back is covered by the program for each participant if requested.

Arrival Transfer Services

Pickup from the bus, train station or airport, to your accommodation is provided if selected. Details of your arrival such as the date, time and place are required at least 10 days before your arrival.
