Summary of the project
FUTURUM, host organization, received following
beneficiaries for a practical training in Wrocław
(Poland) in the framework of the European Leonardo da
Vinci – Lifelong Learning Programme:

Beneficiaries arrived in the evening on 26th April at
the airport in Wroclaw. Ula Stawowczyk from FUTURUM team
picked them up. They were transported to their apartment
and checked in.
On first day a group was taken for a guided tour through
the city of Wrocław. They visited the modern centre as
well as the old town, got to know the history of the
city and the most popular places there.
During the first week the schedule was introduced to
them and they started their training programme. They
attended practical workshops in following companies:

movie and advertisment production
Their training included following issues:
• support applied to education in vocational and
technical institutions having the consciousness of
European Union
• increase skills and knowledge according to European
standard
• getting to know usage of Internet radio broadcasting
and traditional radio broadcasting,
• improvement of foreign language skills,
• acquainting of the discipline of international work
• development of cooperation with people from different
cultures
• harmonization of education in Europe with the one in
Turkey
• getting acquainted with skills and competences
required for work in a radio station
• broadening of visions and horizons for developing
technology
• carry out radio broadcasting in practical way
• getting to know education system for radio station and
web site development
• acquiring information of modern TV station world
All students accumulated a lot of new skills connected
with their interests and obtained a practical knowledge
closely related with their education.
During their free time beneficiaries organized trips to
different places in Poland. They gained information
about the whole country, its customs and tradition. It
gave them the overview of Polish culture and believes.
On Saturday, 16th May the students were taken back to
the airport and travelled back to Turkey.
